Director – Licensing
I am working with a UAE based regulator on their search for a Licensing Director to join the organisation. You will lead a team of 10 responsible for the licensing processes of the regulator for applications from all Financial Services business types including traditional finance, start-ups and fintech’s.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years regulatory experience including 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategy, Implementation & Planning
- Regulatory Compliance
- People Management
- Budgeting
- Risk Management
- Technical Guidance
- Change Management
- Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Reporting
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics or Finance
- Additional relevant professional development
- Experience in the development of regulatory standards and policy
- Excellent communication, analytical & research ability/skills
