Head of Compliance

Barclay Simpson are currently recruiting for Head of Compliance to join a newly set up long/short equities fund in their London offices. This is rare opportunity to join a fund at its inception and be a part of something brand new and truly exciting. The fund has already signed up a main investor and is ready to deploy capital. You will be the first key hire outside of the partners and an essential part of the future success of this business. The partners themselves have excellent pedigree in running successful teams and funds previously.

 

The role itself is an all-encompassing, generalist compliance role where you will be covering all aspects of compliance. Due to the stage the business is at you will be building the frameworks from scratch. One of the interesting parts of the role is the fact that you will also be able to get involved in the wider strategy of the business as they grow and be a key part of that senior leadership team.

 

You will come from another similar fund and ideally have been a Head of Compliance or looking for that next step up. You will be capable and willing to take on broader and more strategic responsibilities whilst also willing to “roll your sleeves up”.
