Chief Information Officer

I am working with a Qatar based conglomerate on their search for a ne Chief Information Officer. This role forms part of the Executive Leadership team driving technology strategy and operations of this successful business. Managing a team of 15+ you will bring innovative solutions and vision that will support business growth through strategic leadership.

Ensuring the company’s technology infrastructure, applications and information security align with the business strategy will form an important part of your responsibilities in the role. You will take the lead on new technology integration and implementation projects in order to enhance productivity and efficiency across the business.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years experience in the technology & IT Infrastructure space with no less than 5 years of that in senior leadership roles.

Main duties to include:

• Collaborate with executive leadership team to define and drive forward-looking technology strategy
• Craft and execute technology roadmap aligned with evolving business needs
• Determine capital investment priorities and risks for enterprise-wide IT initiatives
• Foster strong relationships with business groups to understand their challenges and opportunities
• Prepare and monitor IT operational budgets to meet objectives and constraints
• Recruit, develop, and retain diverse team of technology professionals
• Establish succession plan for critical IT management positions
• Oversee design, planning, and maintenance of computing infrastructure
• Lead cyber security efforts to safeguard assets and systems integrity
• Implement protocols to minimize disruption in case of disasters or data loss
• Enforce IT policies, processes, and development standards
• Develop relationships with external IT partners to meet current and future needs
