Vice President – Internal Controls (Investment Bank)

This VP Internal Controls role is in the newly expanded First Line controls function of a respectable multinational bank focusing on their Investment Banking operations. The role will be based at least 3 days/week in their central London office.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. This will require you to understand all relevant regulations then identify and implement a suite of controls to mitigate the Bank’s risk exposure. You will provide expertise to identify, build and maintain a regulatory control library that is reflective of the Bank. You will also work closely with the Compliance function, and engage with all desks, to manage and coordinate end-to-end risk assessments.

You will be a Controls professional with significant exposure to Banking & Capital Markets, as well as a good knowledge of the relevant products. Strong regulatory knowledge is essential. Having exposure to regulatory remediation is advantageous but not essential.

The salary package on offer is £90,000-£110,000 + bonus (c.20%) + benefits.
