Senior Internal Auditor

We are assisting an established Aberdeen based organisation with their search for a Senior Internal Auditor.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit you will undertake a variety of financial, operational and compliance based reviews, ensuring internal controls are developed and maintained. Specific responsibilities include audit workpaper documentation, preparing report draft of findings, recommending and coordinating findings with senior management of areas reviewed.

You will look for improvement opportunities in the wider business (and how internal audit can help!) and the departmental evaluating tools, techniques, and methodologies. This is a very important role for the global function, and will allow excellent career development.

To be considered you will ideally hold a full audit qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIIA), preferably gained from a Big 4/Top 10 firm. The company are happy to look at someone coming straight from an external audit position, however they would have a preference for some internal audit understanding.

It is key you have enthusiasm, excellent presentation and stakeholder skills, and keen to make a difference in your work. You must have full entitlement to work in the UK as the company are unable to sponsor for this position.
