Senior Operational Risk Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operational Risk Manager with a specialized focus on the implementation of risk tools. As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational risk framework, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with Quilter’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Risk Tool Implementation:
   • Lead the design and implementation of advanced risk management tools to enhance operational risk identification, assessment, and monitoring processes.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of risk tools into existing systems and workflows.
2. Strategic Risk Oversight:
   • Provide expert guidance on the strategic direction of operational risk management, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
   • Contribute to the development and execution of the operational risk strategy, incorporating the latest technological advancements.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Engage with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and business units, to understand their specific operational risk management needs.
   • Foster a collaborative environment, promoting awareness and understanding of the importance of operational risk within the organization.
4. Training and Awareness:
   • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance risk awareness and build a risk-aware culture across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operational risk management within the financial services sector.
• Strong background in implementing risk management tools and technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project management experience with a focus on successful implementation.
