Senior Valuation and Investment Risk Specialist!

Are you a seasoned professional in risk management and valuation? Our client is seeking a Valuation and Investment Risk Specialist for their London team. You will identify, assess, and mitigate risks in alternative asset classes, including Private Credit, Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Real Estate.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 7+ years in risk management and valuation within Asset Management, Advisory, Accounting, or Banking.
  • Sector Expertise: Experience in Private Equity, Direct Debt, Leveraged Finance, Distressed Investments, Infrastructure Lending, and/or Commercial Real Estate.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FCA regulations on Risk Management and Valuation.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Qualifications: CFA, FRM, and/or CAIA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management and valuation frameworks.
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio risks.
  • Manage valuation assessments of complex investments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, fund administrators, auditors, and valuation agents.
  • Support new fund onboarding.
  • Work with financial models for valuation analysis.
  • Report to Senior Management, the Board, and regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare and present valuation reports to clients.
  • Contribute to proposals, presentations, and white papers.
  • Conduct in-depth research on clients, industries, markets, and competitors.
