Head of Regulatory Compliance – UAE Nationals Only

I am working with a Dubai based banking group on their search for a new Head of Regulatory Compliance. They are looking for an experienced(10+ years) Regulatory Compliance Manager from the Banking sector with broad Compliance or Risk knowledge and exposure to Middle East Regulators.

Main duties will include:

• To manage a small team and all Regulatory Risk across the Banking Group.
• Act as a key point of contact with Regulators on Compliance matters
• Take charge of escalating Compliance Risk where appropriate and in line with Regulatory guidance.
• Support management with assurances that the correct processes and controls are in place.
• Provide compliant solutions and advice to the business on Regulatory matters.
• Assist the business in acquiring regulatory approval and licencing for new branches, products, mergers & acquisitions.
• Build a strong compliance team and Regulatory Compliance culture and continue to enhance the compliance control framework.
• Manage regulatory inspections and the provision of any relevant or requested information efficiently.
• Keep up to speed with developments and advancement of the Regulatory Compliance best practice on an international level.
• Ensure the Banking Group is kept abreast of new compliance policies and procedures.
