Head of Compliance

Our client is a weel-0respected Fintech platform with a focus on providing accessibility to digital asset to the retail market. The company have a strong presence in Amsterdam and they are seeking a Head of Compliance to lead the growing Regulatory and Financial Crime compliance function.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, develop, implement and monitor compliance policies and procedures across the business
• Take a forward-thinking approach to new and upcoming regulatory changes to ensure the company’s compliance function is best-in-class in a proactive manner
• Build a strong and collaborative relationship with regulators and other key external stakeholders
• Chair the Compliance committee and present compliance reports to other internal stakeholders, boards and committees
• Lead, train and develop the compliance team
• Hold the regulatory registration for compliance

Experience Required:

• Extensive experience of managing compliance within a Financial Services organisation
• Knowledge of digital assets is preferred but not essential
• Experience of trading/exchange regulations is required
• Fluent Dutch language skills are needed for this role
