Director Private Side Advisory

Investment Bank is seeking a Director Private Side Advisory Compliance Officer to join their team. As a member of the compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the bank’s private side advisory activities are conducted in accordance with all relevant regulations and internal policies. This is an exciting opportunity for a compliance professional with experience in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve private side advisory transactions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
• Dedicated compliance officer for Corporate Banking, Project Finance, Leverage Finance, and maintain subject matter expertise in ESG and securitisation compliance matters.
• Monitor private side advisory activities to identify and assess compliance risks
• Provide guidance and training to private side advisory teams on compliance matters
• Assist with the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures
• Coordinate and liaise with regulatory bodies as required
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments and updates to ensure compliance with current regulations

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or similar role in the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of regulations and compliance requirements for private side advisory activities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
