Risk Reporting – £450 p/d umbrella – 3mths contract (Large Corporate/Retail/Big4)

Our client is one of the worlds largest public service companies in the UK who seek a dynamic individual to join them for a 3-month period to support the Head of Corporate Risk Management and play a crucial role in preparing for their upcoming audits and risk committee meetings.

This is a day rate contract paying an Umbrella rate of £450p.d (inside IR35) with 2 days in their London office and 3 from home. There will be an option to apply for a permanent position thereafter. Although London is preferred, Birmingham is also an option for location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and produce the audit and risk report for June, ensuring it meets board-level standards of professionalism and formality.
  • Work alongside a team of risk professionals and report directly to the Head of Corporate Risk Management.
  • Hit the ground running, taking ownership of your role from day one, and contribute to the success of our risk management initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in producing board-level reports and formal written documents, showcasing your excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong background in risk metric collation and analysis, allowing you to provide valuable insights and support to our risk management processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in Media or a similar size corporate / retail company OR candidates will have experience from one of the big 4 firms.
  • Internal audit experience would be OK as this would mean candidates will have worked across all audit areas within the business.
  • Risk experience should be operational risk/enterprise risk covering cyber risk, financial risk, technology risk etc
