Security Engineer
This specialist retail company seeks an experienced Security Engineer to own security tooling and to take ownership of end-to-end security engineering projects as part of a small team.
This is a broad generalist security engineering role in a Microsoft environment. You’ll work across identity and access management, cloud security, vulnerability management, and SIEM/detection, with an early focus on improving SSO and access management, strengthening joiner/mover/leaver processes, reducing reliance on traditional VPN access and improving visibility across the application estate. You will also be involved in an enterprise level zero trust project.
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys building and improving security controls, automating manual processes and working closely with IT, Engineering and senior stakeholders. Experience across areas such as Entra ID, AWS/GCP, SIEM, vulnerability management, Zero Trust or security automation would be beneficial.
A great opportunity for a Security Engineer ready to take broader technical ownership, or an existing Lead who still wants to remain hands-on.
Hybrid (2-3 days in central London), £80,000 base + bonus + bens.
