Senior Compliance Officer

My global Trading Exchange Client is looking for an experienced Senior Compliance generalist, to join their Dutch Compliance team in Amsterdam. The role will involve the set up and build of the frameworks, policies, procedures and systems for a new entity that they are creating.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the existing MTF application to the regulator, (and any other regulatory license applications)
• Regular liaisons with the AFM and other regulators and being the main point of contact
• Working with group compliance to identify evaluate and manage compliance risk of the Company on an ongoing basis
• Senior internal and external stakeholder management
• Build and maintain compliance policies and procedures
• Cover a wide range of day to day activities, comprising of Market Abuse/Trade Surveillance, AML, KYC, AB&C, CTF and Regulatory reporting to name but a few.
• Managing incidents and notifying regulators;
• implements changes to, or new, relevant regulations including implementing changes to the compliance framework

Requirement:

• 7 years or more experience of working in UK/EU financial services compliance;
• Familiarity of MiFID II in equities and/or equity derivatives;
• Understanding of compliance frameworks, risk assessments and monitoring programmes.
• Full time resident of the Netherlands with the right to live and work in the EU
• Strong written and verbal skills to produce reports, following up on action points or enquiries;
