Senior Audit Manager

My client is a large International Life and Pensions and Asset management company. It has a position for a Senior Manager in its team that can be based in London, or potentially on the South Coast.

The role is focused on the largest segment of its business which covers life and pensions.  This can be broken down into areas like life insurance, critical illness cover, workplace pensions and also lifetime mortgages.  Ideally the candidate should have experience in some of these areas but potentially someone with a general insurance or another FS background who has strong conduct risk/consumer duty appreciation could be considered.

He or she will be expected to develop strong stakeholder relationships at very senior levels and lead probably 2 audits simultaneously with support from audit managers in the team.  The level of stakeholder engagement is more senior than in comparable senior manager roles elsewhere and there can be opportunities to attend Boards and Committees and really add value to the function.

The base and package is generous, there are 30 days holiday, hybrid working (about 50% of time expected in the office in the City) and the work/life balance is very good. There is also a leadership development program that is highly valued for top performers and elements of this are being rolled out to the wider Senior Audit Manager community.
