Lead Compliance Manager

Our client is a well-respected international trading platform provider focussed on institutional clients – they have established their EU HQ in Amsterdam and are seeking a Lead Compliance Officer to take responsibility for Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance obligations for their Dutch entity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the relationship with local regulators including regular reporting and responding to requests for information
• Prepare and present reports for Board/EXCO and Committee levels
• Manage junior team members
• Advise all areas on the business on all compliance matters, driving a strong culture of value-add compliance
• Update, implement and provide ongoing review of compliance policies and the framework
• Manage and conduct compliance monitoring reviews
• Manage and actively review compliance surveillance polices and breaches.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience of regulatory compliance within a capital markets environment
• Working knowledge of trade surveillance practices and systems
• Knowledge of FinCrime Compliance is preferred
• Dutch language skills are advantageous but not a prerequisite – the working language of the business is English
