Cloud Security Operations Engineer

My client, a globally recognised entity, is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Security Operations Engineer to join their growing function based in Sheffield.

As well as monitoring and analysis, your role will be proactive and incorporate threat hunting, incident response and engineering/writing use cases. You will have wider engagement with the incident response team and work closely with them on developing existing playbooks. You will also work with the wider cyber defence and threat intelligence functions; implementing findings into the wider SOC.

In order to be successful in your application, strong technical skills and significant security operations experience is necessary. You will have a minimum of five years’ experience within an established SOC function and have proactive cyber defence skills including malware analysis and scripting. Cloud security skills are a must, ideally with either Azure or AWS. Certifications such as GCIH are a plus, but not a necessity.
