Cloud Architect contract – Azure – 1 day per week in Kent office

A Cloud Architect  is required on an initial 6 month contract for an organisation who work closely with charities and business across the globe providing  them with affordable, repayable finance  to sustain and grow their social impact and charity campaigns.

As the Cloud Architect, you will be joining at a pivotal point of their growth. They are moving their production environment into cloud – Their main systems are based in Microsoft so the cloud they are moving into is Azure. 

What are they looking for?

• They are looking for an Azure and Microsoft SME – an ideal candidate would bring previous experience of on prem/private cloud to Azure migrations with a full understanding of the pros and cons/ pitfalls. They will be looking to move production IaaS and PaaS into a modern Azure workspace
• Moving the production environment into the cloud is a huge step but also change for the company, so the candidate must be comfortable dealing with stakeholders right up to C level (both technical and non technical)
• As the Cloud Architect, the client would find it highly beneficial if you were comfortable mentoring the team with a cloud first approach. They have a talented infrastructure team but to a lot of them this move to Azure will be their first step in the cloud so will rely on your expertise.
