Systems Administrator

Systems Administrator | Dekendorf office (up to 3 days per week in office) | total comp up to €85,000

One of the leading specialists for guarantee insurance in the automotive sector with a large portfolio of products, are looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team based in Dekendorf.

As the Systems Administrator:

• You are responsible for the administration and maintenance of our IT systems, networks and servers
• You independently take over monitoring, error processing and quality assurance. You will also examine our organizational and technical processes with regard to optimization and automation in order to increase efficiency
• You are responsible for the transfer of IT services from the on-premise environment to the cloud environment
• You constantly improve our processes. So that all employees can find their way around, you create work instructions
• You constantly review security guidelines and ensure that a VAIT-compliant operation is set up
• The creation of status and operational reports is also part of your tasks

Skills & Experience required

• You have several years of professional experience within IT and have experience in managing Windows Server and/or Linux, VSphere, Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
• You will also ideally have gained experience in the following areas: Cloud (AWS, Azure), scripting (Ansible, SQL, PowerShell), network administration with a focus on VPN, DNS and SDN
• You are characterized by secure, customer-oriented and friendly communication internally and externally
• Due to the nature of the clients, you must be fluent (written and verbal) in German and English
• VAIT knowledge is an advantage

Depending on your level, this role is paying a total comp between €65 – €85k with a base between €55 – €72k. You will get weinechatsgeld where in November and April you will get an extra salary paid making the package up to the total comp from the base. This role requires 3 days per week in their Dekendorf office
