Head of Audit – Asset Management, part-time option

  • London
  • To £115,000 + Bonus + Benefits

My client is a niche asset manager. The Head of Audit is moving externally outside financial services to an MD level role and as a result I am looking for a replacement.

The ideal candidate will have prior asset management internal audit knowledge ideally but not essentially including alternatives. He or she must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a small team as well as co-source and have the gravitas to report to the CEO and Chair of the Audit Committee and deal with challenging stakeholders.

This could be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to make a step up to run their own function, while also being ‘hands on’. It may also appeal to someone who is very senior and looking to ease back to 3 or 4 days work a week but at the same base salary. This is a global business and could involve some international travel. The company is London based and requires this person to be on site 4 days a week if working 5 days but relatively less if part-time. The inhouse and co-source teams will help deliver the audits with some ‘hands on’ input from the Head of Audit but their focus will be on strategy and stakeholder management etc.
