Senior Audit Manager -Wealth/Private Banking

I have been given the exclusive mandate to find a Senior Manager for this well-known Private Bank/ Wealth Manager. I have previously hired the Head of Audit and his Deputy/Senior Manager. The Head of Audit is now retiring, and the Deputy is stepping up into his role, leaving me to backfill his role.

This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation that employs thousands globally but is still relatively small in the UK. The ideal candidate will have asset or wealth or private/retail banking experience and be comfortable working closely with the new Head of Audit but also being part of a bigger global Audit team. Audits are largely driven by the local audit plan but there are also some global thematic reviews too. In this role you will be expected to interact with senior stakeholders, deputise for the Head of Audit when required and attend various committees.  The expectation is that this person will be able to do audits reasonably autonomously.

The role offers very flexible hybrid working, so while there will be an expectation this person will be in the office regularly during their initial few weeks/months, longer term he or she should be in the office at least one day a week.  There is some travel with the role e.g., the Channel Islands approximately 2 weeks a year and an ad hoc visit to mainland Europe from time to time but travel is comfortably under 10%.
