Market Risk Manager – 6 months Day Rate Contract (Power and Gas)

We’re working with a global renewable energy company who have an urgent 6months contract role in their London office.

This is a temporary replacement for a Senior Market Risk Manager and will have oversight of a commodity portfolio of power and gas covering the UK and EU market places.

You’ll oversee a small team of risk analysts to independently assess, analyse and report risk to senior management, the Risk Management Committee and the shareholders, on the trading exposures of the company in the markets.

Budget is ~£750/day (Inside IR35) or ~£140k pa (FTC). They offer flexible working with 2 or 3 days in the Canary Wharf office. (There might be some flex on the rate.)

As this is an urgent role we’re considering any Senior Market Risk/ Heads of Risk and also Product Control Managers who are immediately available and have either power or gas experience, which is non-negotiable.
