My client is a global financial services firm seeking a new senior lawyer to be bridge between the General Counsel and the rest of the team. The Deputy General Counsel will be asked to manage the team as well as deputise for the General Counsel where needed.
This is a role that balances hands on work, management and strategic thinking. The work will be a broad mix of in house work covering corporate, regulatory and commercial.
The role supports multiple UK entities which report up into the US parent. This set up requires someone who can see how local decisions affect and need to fit within the global company dynamic.
It’s such a great team led by a GC who I known for many years. They are friendly and genuinely collaborative.
This could suit a seasoned Senior Legal Counsel who has management experience looking for a step up or a more seasoned Deputy GC looking for a new role.
They need demonstrable financial services experience and exposure to investment products would be very helpful. This is likely to suit someone used to working in a smaller team and has extensive in house experience.
This is a simply brilliant job for the right person where you can impact the team and the business in a meaningful way.
Please message me asap or submit your CV for consideration.
Candidates will need to be qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales and has a legal right to work in the UK.
