This large global asset and wealth manager has a relatively junior position in its central functions audit team. The ideal candidate will have internal or external audit , or potentially even Compliance or Risk experience looking to move into Internal Audit. This person doesn’t even need a financial services background although that will be beneficial. This is seen as a trainee position where the person will be mentored and developed both on the subject matter and in relation to risks and controls.
Central Functions covers areas like Finance, HR, Risk and Compliance, Legal, Financial Crime etc. which include many of the ‘hot topics’ permeating through all financial services organisations. The ideal person will be good interpersonally, inquisitive, academically able and will be able to demonstrate these qualities at interview.
There is hybrid working with an expectation of 2 days a week in the office in Central London. There is no or very little travel. The work life balance is excellent, and training and development is core to the company’s ethos.
