Senior Assurance Manager
Our client is a financial services business located in Manchester. They are seeking a Senior Assurance Manager to lead a small team reviews all areas of the company with exception of ‘financial risk’ departments. The scope of the role covers both ‘business-as-usual’ and change projects.
The Senior Assurance Manager will lead the development of the risk-based assurance plan. You will both deliver and supervise team members delivering reviews, including planning, scoping, testing, documenting, and reporting. The company aims to operate a ‘no-surprises’ approach and manages stakeholder relationships in a consultative manner.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate experience of leading assurance reviews, either from a 3rd line internal audit function or working from a 1.5 or 2nd line of defence capacity. A good understand of FCA regulations as well as other consideration, such as data protection and privacy, assurance frameworks and best practice is required.
This role offers an excellent work-life balance, with two days required in the office and three days working from home, along with an attractive salary and benefits package.
