Senior Application Engineer (C++/Python)
As a Senior Application Engineer in our clients Innovative Devices team, you’ll be helping expand the feature-set of their existing devices while ensuring the codebase is maintainable, allowing them to continue to deliver the next generation of tools for medical and surgical Devices. They are looking for an approachable personality who can reach across disciplines and add value.
Working within our clients highly technical and diverse multidisciplinary teams, which cover areas such as application software, embedded, computer vision, cloud platform, etc, depending on your experience, you could have Tech Leadership responsibilities and be able to set the direction/architecture of the core application software (C++/Python/C).
Essential Skills and Experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Excellent Unix/Linux skills
- Excellent networking knowledge
- Experience with build systems
- Good C++ programming skills
- Experience with design principles
- Experience working with deployed hardware systems and remote device managementGood Python programming skills
- gstreamer programming useful
- Experience with AWS
