Operational Risk Manager

Our client is a leading capital markets trading organisation – they are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join their Amsterdam based team. The role will focus on the developing their Operational Risk framework including improvement and maintenance of policies, controls, and procedures. The role will require the identification and assessment of risks across the business.

• Maintain and improve the operational risk framework, looking at policies, procedures, and controls.
• Identify material operational risks and offer relevant solutions.
• Stay updated on Dutch and EU regulatory requirements and act as an internal advisor for risk management.
• Lead risk assessments, develop internal controls and risk reports.
• Develop and implement the incident management process, promoting its use companywide.
• Keep in regular contact with Dutch and EU regulators and implement new policies accordingly.

Experience Required:

• Experience in the capital markets industry
• Operational risk frameworks and internal controls knowledge
• Wider understanding of enterprise risk management
• EU risk/regulatory experience including reporting to the regulator.
• English fluency (written and spoken)
