Lead Security Solutions Architect
FTSE listed financial services firm seeks a Lead Security Solutions Architect to lead a team of 5 experienced security solutions architects.
The team is spread across England, Wales and Scotland and they all work remotely.
Around 40% of the role will be working on security solutions architecture yourself, and around 60% will comprise management focused responsibilities. This is less about supervising the team (who are already very capable) and more about improving the team’s approach to doing the work, driving continuous improvement, driving better engagement with the enterprise security architecture team, organising new work requests, keeping up to date with the latest thinking, attending governance meetings/risk committees etc.
The successful candidate must have security solutions architecture skills combined with previous people management experience and, most importantly, experience of driving continuous improvement.
