Head of Regulatory Disclosures
Our client, a global asset manager, is seeking to appoint a Senior Manager to help build and lead a new function responsible for fund documentation and product implementation across its European product range.
This role sits within the first line operations team and will focus on the drafting, oversight and management of key fund documentation, including prospectuses and related investor materials. It could possibly move into legal and/or product further down the line depending on how things go
The team will work very closely with product, legal and investment management teams to support an expanding programme of fund launches and structural product changes.
The successful candidate will be joining at a period of rapid expansion and will play a central role in designing the operating model for this function, establishing processes and controls around documentation production, and building a team that will grow over the coming years (plan for 7-10 headcount)
Initially the role will focus on building the infrastructure required to support a significant increase in product activity, including the implementation of new technology, creating scalable processes and hiring a team.
Longer term the function will become a core capability supporting fund launches, documentation updates and the ongoing management of investor disclosures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversight and drafting of fund prospectuses and related investor documentation
- Supporting new fund launches and product changes across European fund structures
- Designing and implementing the operating model for the documentation function
- Building and managing a specialist team across London and Dublin
- Partnering closely with legal, product and investment teams
- Ensuring documentation processes are scalable as product activity increases
This opportunity would suit candidates from a variety of backgrounds within asset management. Particularly relevant profiles may include individuals currently working in:
- Fund legal roles
- Product governance or product management
- Fund documentation or product implementation functions
Experience working with European fund structures and regulations, Particularly UCITS or frameworks, will be particularly valuable. Direct experience drafting or managing prospectuses would be highly beneficial.
The role offers a rare opportunity to build a new team within a global investment platform at a time of significant growth and product expansion. You won’t see that come to market often.
