Compliance Associate

My Client is a small Investment bank, part of a large financial services arm.

They are looking to hire a compliance generalist to take on their compliance responsibilities.

Someone who is comfortable working in a small team without a classic linear progression path, where they can get exposure to lots of different projects. This role will not be suitable for someone who isn’t willing to roll up their sleeves and do all work from high to low level (there is no admin support in this team).

• Must have 3+ years of experience in Financial Services Compliance and prior knowledge of regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with KYC, AML and FCA regulations
• Proactive and consultative attitude
• Approachable and customer service focused (for all levels of stakeholders internally)
• Risk aware

The role:

• Paying £50-60k dependant on experience
• This will be the “go-to person” person for all things Compliance
• Problem solving and ideas will be very welcomed and this will be a role that can be easily expanded to take on new projects
• Opportunities to work closely with IT on cyber security if it interests them
• Can create other projects if they see a gap
