Group Insurance Manager

Barclay Simpson have been engaged by a growing global construction services business – whose clients include LinkedIn, Facebook and various governments – to recruit for a Group Insurance Manager. This role will be home-based with a requirement to go into the London office 1 day/month at most, so you will need to be UK-based.

Reporting into the Company Secretary, you will play a critical role in the management of Group Insurance portfolio and oversee the end-to-end process for all new placements renewals. You will collaborate closely with corporate functions and project teams to accurately gather insurance coverage requirements. Your role will involve reviewing scope documents provided by brokers to identify suitable insurance products, managing cost registers, and tracking live policies to facilitate timely renewals. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring ongoing insurance claims and supporting business stakeholders in providing necessary information to expedite the claim process.

You will be an Insurance professional with relevant experience from an insurer, broker or in-house. You must have strong knowledge of project & operational risks related to very large scale construction projects or real estate portfolios – specific policies will include Construction All Risks, Marine Cargo, Property All Risks and Engineering policies. Candidates looking to make their first step up to Manager will be considered.

The salary package on offer is £60,000-£90,000 (depending on experience) + bonus (10%) + private medical cover (family).
