Director of Engineering – Consumer Behaviour  – Data Science/ML

We are looking for a Director of Engineering to join our clients team to lead a Revenue Management function. The Revenue Management team’s remit is to maximise long-term revenue through the production of sort and recommendations to accommodate multiple Pricing Models and Tools, working closely with different departments such as the Data, Machine learning and API’s teams

A key part of the role will require you to understand industry trends in the pricing and discounts/promos space while providing Thought leadership to define the overall roadmap for this function.

Skills and experience required

• At least eight years’ experience of managing multiple software engineering teams
• Experience defining and developing successful API-based architecture
• Deep understanding of Data science and Machine learning models
• What pricing models and Engines are and how to gain insights
• AWS Cloud experience
• Strong ability to influence teams in a cross-functional environments
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to successfully grow teams.
• Experience of working with international teams desirable
