Audit Manager – Asset & Wealth Management

  • London
  • £65,000 - £85,000 per year

A leading international financial services group is looking to recruit an Internal Audit Manager to join its Asset and Wealth Management audit team in London.

The position offers broad exposure to investment and wealth management activities, providing the opportunity to work alongside experienced auditors and develop relationships with stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering risk-based audits, assessing the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls, and contributing to the continued development of the audit function.

The role involves reviewing a variety of business activities, including investment operations, regulatory compliance, operational risk and supporting processes. Candidates will be expected to take ownership of audit assignments, identify control weaknesses, develop practical recommendations and communicate their findings effectively to management.

The department is also interested in developing its use of data analytics, automation and AI, and candidates with experience or enthusiasm in these areas will be particularly attractive.

Applicants should have relevant Internal Audit experience gained within asset management, wealth management, banking or a professional services firm. A good understanding of financial services products, processes and associated risks is important, together with the ability to deliver audits independently or take significant responsibility for individual assignments.

Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious auditor to broaden their experience within a substantial international financial services organisation, working across a varied portfolio of audit assignments.
