Cyber Security Project Manager

Immediate Requirement

London – Hybrid

6-month contract

A Telecommunications firm seeking a Project Manager. The role will mainly be focused on the implementation of the Telecom Security Act (TSA) compliance and ensuring the business is up to date with the new regulation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, mobilise, and deliver projects to time, cost, and quality targets in line with applicable policies, best practices, and Information Security standards
  • Engaging senior stakeholders to shape the direction of the project.
  • Managing the integration of complex IT systems, including 3rd parties, engaging relevant platform teams, and applying appropriate oversight and control to achieve the overarching project plan
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and all governance, risk, and regulated frameworks are adhered to throughout the project life cycle
  • Understanding the context in which the project is delivering and anticipating challenges or blockers that may impede the team or identifying opportunities to join things up across the organisation to drive efficiency.

Skills required

  • Experience as a Cyber Project Manager
  • Proven track record of working in a highly regulated environment
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of projects to budget and schedule.
  • Working with technology vendors to deliver strategic programs of work
  • Effective interpersonal skills, relationship skills, and written/verbal communications skills; ability to influence others in reaching and supporting decisions.

As an ideal candidate will have Project Management qualifications such as Prince2 or Information Security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, OR CRISC. You will also have a proven track record of delivering security regulatory change programmes, such as SOX or GDPR, for large complex organisations.
