Legal Counsel

My client is a very well regarded financial services firm with a strong technology slant and they are looking for a lawyer to join their team. The role will support on all areas of technology from commercial contracts through to regulatory work.

They are a global business which operates at a fast pace and can offer really exiting work. This role will join an established team with an opportunity to take ownership of a variety of areas.

The role will suit a strong technology lawyer with a good corporate and commercial background. Coverage of areas like IP and data protection will be important but just as important is someone who enjoys working as part of a global team and supporting multiple stakeholders.

They are looking for a UK qualified Solicitor or Barrister either direct out of private practice or another similar firm. If moving form another in house role it will ideally be another financial services business or a large technology business. The ideal profile is somewhere in the 4 to 10 year PQE bracket but the right person is far more important than the number of PQE years.

Sponsorship will not be available for this role so all applicants will need to have the right to work in the UK.
