My client is a leader in the renewable energy space who are one of the most highly regarded in their field and looking to hire a Senior Lawyer on a fixed term contract basis to cover for a maternity leave.

They are truly a phenomenal place to work where they are making a real difference to energy security whilst ensuring they help look after our environment.

The role will take on a senior role within the UK legal team and be part of a global team.

They are looking for a strong corporate commercial background and whilst having exposure to renewable energies would be very helpful it is less important than the ability to handle a multitude of tasks and managing multiple stakeholders at once.

You’ll cover M&A, general corporate, commercial contracts, regulatory and anything else that comes into the legal team.

This will suit someone who is likely 10 years PQE + and ideally coming form another in house background. You will need to be UK qualified with no exceptions made and sponsorship won’t be possible.

The successful candidate will be able to show leadership and a very commercial approach to providing legal advice. They need someone who can truly partner with the business and help find solutions.

There is plenty of support available but the seniority of the role will require someone who can hit the ground running.

This is covering a for a maternity leave for a very senior member of the team so will look very good on the CV when combined with the quality of the company.

They need someone ASAP so you will need to be able to start in less than 4 weeks to be considered.
