A fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading Commodity Firms focused on Energy products. My client has a track record of hiring the very best risk professionals and offers exceptional exposure to the business in a highly commercial environment working with a broad range of tangible assets.

The Role:

Working in the Market risk Management Team, candidates will be working with like minded individuals to monitor positions, set limits and provide bespoke analysis. The role will utilise a wide range of tools including VaR Analysis, Stress Testing and Scenario Analysis. The position will face off directly with Traders adding value on an ex-ante as well as ex-post basis.

Candidates coming from a bank will find themselves in an environment less encumbered by regulation with less bureaucracy and greater exposure across the business.

Applicants:

Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication both written and verbal. Working across asset classes, the team is looking for a Risk professional to support with analytics, methodology and reporting (business rather than regulatory). A fast paced role this will suit a banking Market Risk Analyst looking for a more dynamic environment which is more focused on adding value rather than regulatory reporting.

Candidates are likely to either be in a Bank or Commodity firms Market Risk Management department. Alternatively candidates may be in a Product Control team in a Commodity Firm.
