Position Overview: As an Investment Risk & Performance Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the risk management and performance analysis functions of our premier closed-end fund. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous risk assessments, monitoring portfolio performance, and providing valuable insights to senior management and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk analysis of the fund’s investment portfolio, including asset allocation, concentration risk, and liquidity risk.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify key drivers of returns, including attribution analysis and benchmark comparisons.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to optimize risk-adjusted returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with investment teams, portfolio managers, and external vendors to gather data and perform in-depth analysis.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and board members, highlighting key risk metrics and performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA or FRM designation preferred.
  • Proven experience in investment risk management and performance analysis within the closed-end fund or investment trust industry.
  • Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and performance measurement techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard risk analytics tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
