Enterprise Risk Analyst

Role:

The Senior Analyst ERM position in the Insurance Firm involves active participation in the Risk function, which manages the Lloyd’s syndicate. The role centers around supporting the ERM Team in various risk management activities, including operational risk, risk reporting, ORSA, and the Risk Management Framework. Key responsibilities include cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders, independently reviewing and challenging operations strategy and governance, and contributing to the enhancement of the Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities Include:

• Support ERM Team in operational risk, risk reporting, ORSA, and Risk Management Framework
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders in Operations, Finance, ABS, and other business areas
• Independently review and challenge operations strategy, processes, governance, and controls
• Maintain and enhance the Risk Management Framework
• Provide input to GRC systems design and performance
• Support implementation and embedding of tools for effective risk management
• Contribute to the ORSA for value-added decision-making
• Conduct deep dives and risk opinions across various business areas
• Participate in risk management activities, including identification, monitoring, and reporting
• Attend operational and project meetings to provide risk management advice and challenge

What You’ll Need:

• Strong analytical skills
• Several years of experience in risk management frameworks and processes
• Clear and concise communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to meaningfully participate in meetings with stakeholders

It Wouldn’t Hurt If You Have Experience In:

• GRC System implementation
• Operational Risk Scenario Analysis
• ORSA processes
• Quantitative analysis
