Investment Risk Analyst
My clients are currently seeking a highly skilled Investment risk manager to join their team. My client are a leading investment firm seeking a proficient and motivated individual to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to management
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to ensure risk is managed effectively
- Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other risk managers and portfolio managers to develop risk mitigation strategies and recommendations.
- Monitor compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct research and contribute to the enhancement of risk management tools and methodologies.
- Prepare risk reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, highlighting key risk metrics and insights.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- Experience and strong understanding of investment risk theory.
- Strong quantitative and programming skills, with proficiency in Python and SQL
- Demonstrable experience in BAU investment risk activity
- Experience working with: MSCI Barra One, Power BI
- Professional Qualification such as FRM or CFA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship. Candidates on a PSW, graduate visa or tier 2 are not eligible to apply.
