Risk Analyst

Job Description:

The Risk Analyst will join the team of the Conducting Officer – Finance and play a vital role in evaluating and managing risks associated with Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and assess financial, operational, and regulatory risks related to UCITS and AIFs activities.
• Identify emerging trends and potential threats that may impact the financial stability and regulatory compliance of the funds.
• Develop risk assessment frameworks and methodologies to effectively measure and monitor risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA) preferred.
• Proven experience in risk management, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key risk indicators.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to UCITS and AIFs.
• Proficiency in risk management software and tools is desirable.
