Audit Manager – Asset Management
A leading UK institutional investor is looking to hire an Audit Manager into its high-performing Internal Audit team. Managing significant assets and operating with a long-term investment focus, the organisation offers a stable, collaborative environment with excellent retention and clear opportunities for progression.
This is a broad and visible role within the Investments team, giving exposure across public and private markets, as well as key operational areas. You will take ownership of audits from planning through to delivery, providing meaningful insight on risk, controls and governance while engaging directly with senior stakeholders across the business.
The position offers genuine career development, with a clear pathway into senior leadership over time as part of a defined succession plan. You’ll be joining a team that is investing in its internal capability, delivering high-quality work and reducing reliance on external providers.
The ideal candidate will bring internal audit experience within asset or wealth management, alongside a strong understanding of investment operations such as liquidity, settlements or middle office. You will be confident engaging with stakeholders, able to challenge constructively and keen to build a long-term career within a respected investment environment. Professional qualifications are welcomed but not essential.
Alongside the quality of the role itself, the organisation offers a genuinely supportive culture, flexible hybrid working (typically around 50% in the office), and a broad and varied audit plan that will keep the work interesting and commercially relevant.
