Stress testing Lead Risk Analyst

A major bank are looking for a Lead Risk Analyst specialising in Stress Testing to be a part of the stress testing and regulatory reporting team in their Northern offices. This is a hybrid working style with office location options being Sheffield, Birmingham, Chester or Leeds.

Responsibilities: 

  • Being the lead on the delivery of projects related to Retail Risk Analytics
  • Regulatory reporting- overseeing the production of reporting going to both the regulators and also internally to be compliant with the regulations
  • Engage with and review outputs produced by key department teams such as finance
  • Support the development and maintenance of  the related IFRS 9 models for the UK Retail portfolios

Requirements: 

  • Strong quantitative analysis capabilities. Possessing a degree in quantitative, numerical, or financial disciplines.
  • Highly refined analytical proficiencies for extracting insights from data and translating them into business-oriented language and financial implications.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficiency in SQL/SAS programming. Capable of  generating well-structured analysis datasets, conducting statistical analyses and tests on data. Tailoring output into business-friendly reports.
