Credit Risk Officer
My client is an international specialist real estate finance lender and they are looking for a credit risk manager with knowledge of commercial real estate finance. Their book is a mix of residential development, hotels, industrial estates, shopping centres etc.
They are looking for an experienced hire to join the team with a preference for someone who has been through a full credit cycle. Whilst this isn’t a workout role, there are elements of the portfolio that require someone who has experience of managing credit risk in a downturn.
The role will form part of the firms succession planning, so would really suit someone either from one of the larger banks who is looking to take a step into a role where they can have a close working relationship with both the Head of Credit and the CRO, or someone in a smaller institution who is looking for a role that offers progression into a more senior role over time.
