Senior SOC Analyst

My client, a FTSE 100 organisation, is seeking a hands on Senior SOC Analyst to join them in their Surrey office.

In this exciting role, you will take on challenging tasks including threat hunting, malware analysis and incident response, working with the wider organisation to ensure defence is top of the agenda. This is an organisation regularly targeted by serious threat actors and so your exposure to serious security issues will be high.

You will work closely with the SOC to build use cases, utilise the EDR and SOAR tooling and track APT’s. You will also have the opportunity to utilise the intelligence gathered on an international platform within the organisation.

In order to be successful in your application, strong technical experience is key, including significant SOC experience, ideally within an end user. A strong background in IT fundamentals, including systems administration is beneficial as is security qualifications such as SANS courses although equivalent experience is just as useful.
