Senior legal Counsel

My client is a very well known global insurer looking for a senior lawyer with a strong insurance linked transactional background to work with them in their Alternative Risk Transfer business. This team works with some of the most senior stakeholders and the highest ticket work in the company. It sits halfway between reinsurance and underwriting.

The team is spread out amongst their key geographical locations and the team very much has a global focus. They are all senior specialists who really enjoy the technical element of their role and working with client s to fund solutions

From a technical interest perspective this has got to be one of the most exciting areas within the business and the work should be very interesting as a result.

You will play a key role in negotiating and executing all relevant transactions, develop key relationships with brokers etc. and of course take the lead on ensuring all documentation is created.

They are looking for someone with a strong transactional background from either an insurance or reinsurance firm (or potentially straight from private practice) who has a stirng background in alternative risk transfer.
