This prestigious Financial Services organisation has an exciting opportunity within the Wealth/Private Banking audit team. Although this is a 15-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave but there is a strong chance it could become permanent. This a great opportunity to make a move into a top firm that invests heavily in its staff to help train and develop them, even if doing a fixed term contract. The hiring manager is looking for someone who has, strong academics and either financial services internal audit experience or potentially external audit. Exposure to Wealth, Private or Retail banking would be ideal.
You will need to demonstrate potential and the ability to think on your feet. Good interpersonal skills are essential as this person will need to interact closely with senior stakeholders. As well as Wealth/Private Banking this team covers some of the most interesting Group Audits such as ESG. It has low staff turnover, I have placed most of the team members over the years, and their feedback is very positive. Most if not, all have had at least one promotion since I placed them.
There is a hybrid working environment with typically 3 days a week in the office. Although not compulsory, there is an opportunity to do international travel to reasonably exotic places. Past audits have included Argentina, Australia, and the Far East. There is also the ability to work from overseas locations and a generous benefits package on offer.
