Senior SOC Lead

Financial Service firm seeks Senior SOC Lead to join their Security Operations function on a 15-month FTC basis (maternity cover). REMOTE opportunity.

This is a hands on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys developing people, improving security operations and remaining technically close to the SOC environment.

As SOC Team Lead, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of Security Operations, leading, mentoring and developing the internal SOC team through regular 1:1s, coaching and ongoing development. You’ll act as an escalation point for security incidents and support wider incident response and crisis management activities when required (you will not be the only person).

You’ll work closely with the organisation’s MSSP, managing the operational relationship, service reviews and escalations while ensuring the hybrid SOC model operates effectively.

The environment is heavily Microsoft-focused, so experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft 365/E5 and KQL would be highly beneficial.

Up to £80,000 base + 10% completion bonus at the end of the FTC
