London (West End) | Office-based (4/5 days/week)

A well-established and highly regarded professional services firm is seeking a Practice Compliance & Facilities Supervisor to join its London office.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of compliance across a regulated accountancy practice, working directly with senior leadership to ensure the firm’s regulatory, operational, and physical environments meet the highest professional standards.

The Role

You will play a central role in ensuring the firm remains compliant with all relevant regulatory frameworks, including ICAEW requirements, audit regulations, AML, GDPR, and broader governance standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supporting regulatory inspections and audits
  • Translating regulatory requirements into robust internal controls and processes
  • Monitoring compliance across the business and ensuring follow-up actions are completed
  • Maintaining and reviewing firm-wide policies and governance frameworks
  • Delivering internal training and promoting a strong compliance culture

In addition, you will oversee the firm’s office environments, including facilities compliance, contractor coordination, and health & safety requirements.

This is a hands-on role requiring both attention to detail and a proactive, practical approach.

The Candidate

You will have:

  • Experience in compliance within a regulated professional services environment (accountancy preferred)
  • Strong understanding of ICAEW regulations and practice assurance processes
  • Experience supporting or coordinating external audits or inspections
  • A methodical, detail-focused approach with the confidence to challenge where needed
  • A proactive mindset and ability to take ownership of outcomes

Exposure to facilities or operational compliance is advantageous but not essential.

Initial office presence is required due to the nature of the role, with flexibility available longer-term.
