Data Protection Manager
Help shape how data protection is embedded across a major financial services business.
The details
- 5 month contract
- £450-500 per day Umbrella Contract. Inside IR35.
- Remote working, with some travel to the Gloucestershire office initially before moving to a more flexible remote arrangement.
This is a hands-on Privacy contract where you’ll advise on business change, technology and transformation projects, ensuring privacy is considered from the outset rather than treated as an afterthought.
You’ll work with stakeholders across the business to review new initiatives, support DPIAs, provide pragmatic data protection advice and help embed Privacy by Design into day-to-day decision making. It’s a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, influencing stakeholders and applying common sense to complex situations.
What you’ll need
- Strong experience in Data Protection or Privacy.
- Experience conducting Privacy by Design reviews and supporting DPIAs.
- Excellent working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
- The confidence to advise senior stakeholders and balance regulatory requirements with commercial outcomes.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
- Financial services experience
REMOTE but you need to go to Gloucestershire at the start of the contract.
