Are you a technology audit expert looking to step into a high-impact, senior-level role within a globally respected financial services firm? This is your opportunity to join a forward-thinking Internal Audit team, delivering meaningful assurance across IT systems, projects, and controls that underpin critical banking operations.

As a Senior Manager in Technology Audit, you’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment that values independence, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Based near Frankfurt, Germany, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across Europe, contribute to strategic audit planning, and lead complex audits end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute IT audit assignments across a diverse technology landscape, from infrastructure and cloud to cybersecurity and data
  • Develop and maintain the audit universe, with a focus on risk assessment and regulatory alignment (e.g. MaRisk, BAIT, DORA)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to scope audit engagements, execute fieldwork, and report findings clearly and concisely
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement of audit methodologies
  • Support issue validation and track the timely implementation of remediation plans
  • Act as a key point of contact for the German banking operations and liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Your Experience & Skills:

  • Strong background in IT Audit, IT Security, or Risk Management
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or similar
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks such as MaRisk, BAIT, and upcoming DORA requirements
  • Proven ability to audit areas such as operating systems, databases, networks, applications, and cloud environments
  • Skilled in leading audits from planning through to reporting
  • Strong communication and influencing skills—comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools is a plus
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken) is essential
