Investment Risk Analyst – Fixed Income (Day Rate Contract – 6 months)

This is an exceptional opportunity to work for a fantastic buy side firm London on a 6 months contract – offering a day rate up to £550 (inside IR35).

The team is currently looking to hire a contractor to work on a critical project to perform risk reconciliation. The role will report directly into the Head of Investment Risk (who report directly into the CRO).

This will suit a risk analyst who has come from either a sell side Market Risk Management function or a buy side Investment Risk function

The role will sit in the Portfolio Market Risk team but require a more functional approach in ensuring the Market Risk Data is understood, accurate and any issues identified are investigated and either corrected or escalated. The strategies are equally weighted to Fixed Income, Equities and Multi Asset. The role however will be focused on Fixed Income.

Skills needed:

• Python coding skills
• Understanding of risk measures, in particular VaR and tracking-error
• Preferably with fixed income knowledge
